The first Puttin’ in Pink golf tournament will be held on Thursday, June 13 at Bay Pointe Country Club. All of this year’s proceeds will benefit fund for the girls, a part of the Baptist Foundation. Tee times will be at 8:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. with a shotgun start.
Registration fees are $125 per person and include lunch at the clubhouse, greens fee and carts. Registration for individuals or teams is now available online at http://fs24.formsite.com/brittany15/GolferRegistration/index.html,

Teams for the tournament will be four-man. Prizes will be awarded to golfers with the longest drive, longest putt, best overall score, best team score and have a chance to win a car with a hole-in-one on a select hole.
A part of the Baptist Health Foundation, fund for the girls, created in 2011, supports women in need of breast services that are unable to afford them. These services include mammograms, ultrasounds, and biopsies. Between August 2012 and January 2013, donations calculated over $109,000. Support from Radiology Group, PA and Baptist has allowed fund for the girls to assist over 207 women.
“This tournament will provide funds for dozens of local women to receive preventative and continuing treatment that may not be able to afford it,” said Brittany Fryery, tournament chair. “My family was affected by cancer earlier this year, and this tournament will fundraise for fund for the girls to assist other families that have been affected by cancer.”
