Following joint replacement surgery, Baptist provides rehabilitation services to get patients up and moving as quickly as possible. Rehabilitation services include individualized physical therapy programs with a full line of rehabilitation equipment. Joint replacement patients undergo physical therapy twice daily. There is a rehab area located directly on the Orthopaedic Unit that is solely for patients who have undergone joint replacement surgery. In addition to physical therapy, patients also receive occupational therapy evaluation and treatment.
Baptist offers outpatient physical therapy in clinics across the metro Jackson area. For a listing of locations, click here to visit the Physical Therapy page on our website.
