This event will be held February 10 - 14, 2012 at The Lodges in Deer Valley, Utah.
This conference is designed to provide you with exceptional education and networking opportunities. The 2012 Multi-Specialty Physician Conference will provide a forum for physicians of various specialties to discuss the current trends and updates in various medical and surgical specialties.

Target Audience & Course Description

This conference is designed for physicians and healthcare professionals of all specialties and subspecialties with an interest in expanding their knowledge regarding medical and surgical updates. This symposium provides a forum in which physicians are able to discuss and share medical, surgical and general healthcare information among colleagues.

Educational Objectives

After attending the conference, participants should be able to:

Define the etiology and benefits of early treatment options for valvular heart disease.
Discuss the efficacy of device therapy related to heart failure.
Define early identification and intervention for acute stroke and impact on outcomes.
Identify new trends in anesthesia care and management
Discuss specific imaging techniques related to cancer screening.

Deer Valley

For over 30 years Deer Valley has been offering skiers a unique winter experience. Readers of
Ski Magazine agree, voting it the #1 ski resort for four consecutive years. Deer Valley skiing
now boasts SIX mountains; Lady Morgan, Little Baldy Peak, Bald Eagle Mountain, Bald
Mountain, Flagstaff and Empire. Combined with great skiing is convenience, with Deer
Valley being located just 36 miles from Salt City International Airport and one mile from
Park City Main Street.

The Lodges at Deer Valley is a first-class condominium hotel in lodge style ambiance.
Located just ¼ mile from the Snow Park base area, The Lodges provides transportation to
and from the Deer Valley slopes and into the town of Park City. Guest services include onsite
check-in, bell and concierge service, outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center and
a general store.

Costs

Registration Fee

$300.00 registration fee per Mississippi physician or healthcare professional. Entitles attendee, spouse or guest and children to participate in conference activities.
$750.00 per out-of-state physician or healthcare professionals, based on availability after January 7, 2012.
Conference registration is limited to a maximum of 60 participants.

Lodging Costs

Lodge/Hotel Room: $269.00 per night
One Bedroom Condominium: $399.00 per night
Two Bedroom Condominium: $559.00 per night
Three Bedroom Condominium: $669.00 per nigh

Note:
Units with lofts are available for an additional $75.00/night. Rooms at the Silver Bar are an additional $160.00/night.
A block of rooms has been reserved at The Lodges at Deer Valley until January 7, 2012 and are available on a first-come basis. Rate is available three days pre and two days post conference dates, based on availability (February 7-15, 2012). To reserve your room, complete the registration and lodging form. All rooms include cable TV, wireless internet access, robes, hair dryers, coffeepot and mini refrigerator. All condominiums include a fully equipped kitched, washer/dryer, living area with fireplace and two or three baths. Bedding varies in each unit. Special requests will be noted, but are not guaranteed. Air mattresses are available for $20.00/night.

Deposit/Cancellation Policies

An initial deposit of $50.00 is charged at the time of booking followed by one night’s room and tax charged three days later.
Rates do not include a 4% resort lodging fee and 10.45% tax (subject to change).
Final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 45 days of arrival are charged full payment at time of booking.
Individual cancellations made more than 45 days prior to arrival will forfeit one night’s lodging plus $50.00.
Cancellations made less than 45 days of arrival will forfeit total lodging cost.
There will be no refund for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows or downgrades.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is at 10:00 a.m.
Travel insurance is available at a cost of 7% of total lodging and is nonrefundable. Please indicate on the registration form if you would like to purchase insurance.

Transportation

Attendees should make their own flight arrangements. Baptist Health Systems will assist in coordinating airport transportation in the form of shared rides from Park City Transportation from Salt Lake City International Airport for $84.00 per person round trip. Please indicate transportation needs on the registration form.
