Chaplain Mark Roth

Chaplain Mark Roth grew up in Canada and received his college degree in Ontario. He completed courses in pastoral studies at Rosedale Bible Institute in Ohio and has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education from Mississippi Baptist Health Systems. He is a certified clinical chaplain with the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy.

Mark has experience in accounting, having worked with MBCI, tribal finance, in Choctaw, Mississippi. He has also served as a hospice chaplain. He served 12 years as pastor of Nanih Waiya Indian Mennonite Church in Preston, MS, before relocating to Clinton.

At Baptist, Mark serves the patients, families and staff on the oncology unit, restorative care, 5C (neurology) , 4A (med-surg) and the Hederman Cancer Center.

Mark and his wife, Carol, have three sons: Cody, Gabriel, and Jonathan..
