Pastoral Care Department
The team of chaplains serving patients, their family members and friends, and the staff of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center is a group of dedicated and compassionate caregivers. Our chaplains are assigned specific areas in the hospital for which to minister and bring comfort and care. Patient visitation, chapel services, memorial services, counseling sessions, prayer and scripture reading, and answering emergency calls are but just a few of the services the Pastoral Care Department offers to those coming to the Baptist for medical care. It is indeed a privilege and an honor to serve Christ and His creation through the capacity of pastoral care at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.
