3D echo technology to assist with imaging the valves in the OR

This morning Baptist Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Surgeon used a new type of cardiac ultrasound technology called Live 3D Transesophageal Echo (TEE). It provides the first-ever live 3D images to repair mitral valves.
The photos are of Cardiovascular Surgeon William Harris, MD and staff. The video of the procedure will be posted later.
