Baptist Health Systems and Radiological Group Announce Partnership

Effective August 17, 2011, Baptist Health Systems and the Radiological Group are joining forces and becoming partners in the provision of Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging and Women’s Imaging services.

Baptist’s Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging center at the Colonnades will now be fully managed by the Radiological Group. This new partnership allows consolidation of services with resulting improved efficiencies and more cost-effective business operations.

“This means physicians and patients can expect further improvements in the already high quality, timely and hassle-free imaging services that you’ve come to expect over the years from the Radiological Group,” said Baptist Health Systems Chief Operating Officer and Baptist Medical Center CEO Mark Slyter.

The soon to open, state-of-the-art, Center for Breast Health will now be managed by the Radiological Group. Therefore, physicians, their support staff and patients can expect the same high level of service and quality care they’ve come to know over the years from the Radiological Group. All of  this in a new modern, relaxing, and aesthetically pleasing setting.

“Further details about this new modern facility and its full range of Women’s Imaging Services will become available over the next few weeks,” added Slyter.

As before, a full range of diagnostic imaging services will be available:
Screening and Diagnostic digital mammography and breast ultrasound
Stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guided breast biopsy.
High Resolution Multidetector CT with CT angiography and 3D imaging
MRI and MRA
Diagnostic Ultrasound
Digital Radiography
Fluoroscopy and GI studies
Nuclear Medicine Studies

Operations of this partnership will begin the week of September 12, 2011, and more details will be made available in the coming weeks to insure a positive experience for all our valued patients and physicians.
