Loleta Zollicoffer

Nominated by Bobbie Carter

Bobbie says, “Loleta and I met in August 2003 when our Sunday School classes were combined. She taught 3rd and 4th graders, and I taught 5th graders. This was the start of a great friendship. Our friendship began to deepen when my mentally abusive marriage began to fall apart. I could call her at any time. She would listen, pray for me, and provide sound, godly counsel when needed. Loleta has taught and is continuing to teach me to be a mother, home manager, and woman of excellence. She mentors me and several other women. In addition, she serves as a small group leader each week to 7th grade girls. She also serves as a co-leader of a weekly ladies’ Bible study. Loleta gives of herself without asking anything in return. She sets the standard for me. She makes everyone feel special and important.”
