Sue Fenn Minter

Mary says, "Sue believes in the whole being of family and community. She dedicates herself to improve each through church and community organizations. She is President of the Brookhaven Trust for the Preservation of History, Culture, and the Arts. The Trust was instrumental in bringing the School of Arts to Brookhaven. Presently she is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, member of the Willing Hearts Circle of Kings Daughters and Sons Hospital and serves on the board of the Silver Cross Nursing Home. She is on the board of directors and is a volunteer for the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer Angels Attic. This is a thrift store whose profits benefit hospice, habitat and local charities. She is past president of Parents for Public Schools and supports her son's school as a member of the PTA, room mother and as a volunteer to read to his class. As a member of the Brookhaven Little Theater, she is a past recipient of the John Landress Award and as a writer she won the Eudora Welty Film and Fiction Award. She constantly says that she is nothing without God. He gives her the words to say and the thoughts to write. Her life reflects this each day.”
