Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis, often called a silent disease because it develops without symptoms, is a condition that causes bones to become fragile and prone to breaks. Fortunately, good treatments do exist to help women prevent fractures that can lead to dangerous complications.

Board certified rheumatologists are included on the medical staff at Baptist for Women. These specialists are available to assist in your treatment in consultation with your own regular physician.
