A native of Jackson, Dr. Naef completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi. He then earned his medical degree, with highest honors, from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed internships in General Surgery and in Obstetrics and Gynecology at USAF Medical Center Keesler, where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, he is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Surgeons, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the American Medical Association. A popular lecturer for professional organizations, medical center staffs and students, he is the author of numerous scientific articles. He is married and has two children.
