Dr. Rawson, a neonatologist with Newborn Associates, earned his undergraduate degree at Millsaps College before completing his medical degrees at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He then finished his internship in pediatrics at Vanderbilt University, followed by a fellowship in newborn medicine at the University of Mississippi. Board certified in pediatrics and in neonatal-fetal medicine, he is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the National Perinatal Association and the American Thoracic Society, the Mississippi State Medical Association, the Mississippi Perinatal Association and the Central Pediatric Society. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and abstracts. He and his wife have two children.
