Breastfeeding

Education and a good support system are essential for a positive, rewarding breastfeeding experience. Our Breastfeeding Class, offered to women delivering at Baptist, is a good place to start. An Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is available as needed after delivery.

The Birthplace Support Services, conveniently located on the ground floor of Baptist for Women, provides breastpump sales and rentals, as well as other breastfeeding supplies. A Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or a breast-feeding educator is available to assist you in selecting the breastpump best suited to your needs.
