Binge Eating

For some people, food becomes a sort of life-boat when life gets complicated. It's so easy to turn to a favorite food for comfort, and only later come the feelings of regret and sometimes guilt.

The Nutrition Center offers a program that can help break the cycle. Licensed professional counselors help binge eaters discover the hidden causes behind their eating patterns, and give practical guidance to help gain control of eating habits.

Binge eaters don't have to struggle alone. Practical help is available at The Nutrition Center.

Our Licensed Behavioral Counselors address issues such as:

  • body image
  • handling difficult emotions
  • self-monitoring of eating habits
  • techniques to help you think differently about food

For more information about The Nutrition Center's program for binge eaters, call the Jackson location at 601-973-1624, or the Madison location at 601-856-6459. (Madison hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; closed Friday.)
