Grace G. Shumaker, MD

A graduate of Mississippi State University, Dr. Shumaker received her medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she also completed her internship and residency; in her final year, Dr. Shumaker was Chief Resident. After completing her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UMC and the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Dr. Shumaker joined the faculty of UMC as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology.

Dr. Shumaker is certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Medical Association, the Mississippi State Medical Association and the Mississippi Society of Oncology.
