James R. Rooks, MD, FACS

After earning his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Dr. Rooks completed his surgical residency in the United States Navy at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He also served as a surgical instructor at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

Dr. Rooks is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and a member of the American College of Surgeons.
