Baptist offers a multidisciplinary team approach to the care of inpatients with diabetes. Our Diabetes Management Team, consisting of physicians, clinical pharmacists, certified diabetes nurse educators, and a registered dietitian, works together to implement treatment plans, monitor patients, develop standardized monitoring protocols and order sets, and educate patients about proper diabetes management. The team supports the goals of the American Diabetes Association.

Outpatient diabetes education is offered through the :: Baptist Nutrition Center. The Diabetes Support Group meets the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Madison Campus Community Room on second floor.
