Try these ideas:

  • Add extra butter, margarine and oils when preparing foods.
  • Mix powdered milk into casseroles, soups, gravies, cereals and milkshakes.
  • Choose calorie-rich snacks such as: peanut butter and crackers, nuts, cheese toast, yogurt and fruit.
  • Always have meat, eggs or cheese at meals.
  • Use honey, jelly and fruit toppings on toast, muffins, bagels and other food items.
