La gingivitis necrosante aguda ulcerativa (ANUG) es una infección seria de las encías que causa úlceras, inflamación, y tejidos muertos en la boca. Aunque es una condición muy dolorosa, se puede curar con tratamiento.
La gingivitis necrosante aguda ulcerativa por lo general es causada por exceso en la boca. Se pueden formar demasiadas bacterias en la boca por fumar , estés, falta de cuidado dental, un virus, y dieta deficiente.
