Óxido Nitroso

El gas de óxido nitroso se usa principalmente como un anestésico local en la odontología, así como en ciertas fases de la cirugía de bypass cardíaco.

Folato , Vitamina B12

Complementación Posiblemente Útil

De vez en cuando, el óxido nitroso puede provocar deficiencia significativa de vitamina B 12 , especialmente en personas que ya están al borde de la deficiencia de dicha vitamina (por ejemplo, los vegetarianos al 100%) o quienes con frecuencia están expuestos al gas, como los dentistas y anestesiólogos. 1–4

El efecto sobre la B 12 también impacta al folato. 5, 6, 7

Tomar suplementos de folato y B 12 de acuerdo a los niveles de U.S. Dietary Reference Intake (conocido anteriormente como la Recommended Dietary Allowance) debe prevenir el desarrollo de cualquier problema.
