Reduciendo Su Riesgo de Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (ADHD)

Debido a que los factores de riesgo conocidos para ADHD están fuera de su control, actualmente no hay indicaciones para reducir su riesgo (o el de su hijo) de ADHD. A medida que crezca nuestro entendimiento de ADHD, su médico podría tener más información con respecto a los pasos para reducir su riesgo.

El entendimiento de ADHD le ayudará a identificar sus síntomas, minimizar las consecuencias, y obtener tratamiento adecuado temprano. El mejoramiento sustitutivo de factores conductuales, emocionales, y sociales que agravan la condición puede ayudar a reducir su severidad. El tratamiento adecuado puede prevenir problemas posteriormente en la vida con la escuela, trabajo, relaciones, y abuso de drogas y de alcohol.
