In recognition of the American Cancer Society’s 100th Birthday, Baptist Cancer Services held a t-shirt design competition among Baptist employees for ACS’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

Baptist Nurse Amanda Brown won the t-shirt design, and Baptist Cancer Services sold the t-shirts to Baptist participants.

Funds raised from the t-shirt sales enabled Baptist’s Chef Carlos Perez to prepare and donate 2,000 cupcakes for the ACS Making Strides Walk.

Cancer Transportation Donation

Baptist Administrative Director of Oncology and Neuroscience Services Deniece Ponder attended a pep rally at Simpson County Academy in Mendenhall on October 4th. She was presented a check for $1000.00 for Baptist Cancer Services to use for transportation for our patients. The cheerleaders presented Ponder with the check during their “Pink Pep Rally” for Breast Cancer Awareness.
