Baptist HealthTeacher

Baptist HealthTeacher is an online health curriculum for K-12 teachers that provides a comprehensive online resource to teach good health habits to children. The mission of Baptist HealthTeacher is to instill lifelong health habits and personal responsibility into today’s youth with the goal to dramatically change the health of our state—forever.

Baptist HealthTeacher meets national and state health education standards, contains cross-curricular information, provides access to numerous background resources and is customizable to each school’s needs.

A Baptist HealthTeacher Health Education Coordinator works directly with the educators and travels to schools in the designated 18 counties to facilitate this comprehensive program that is designed to positively impact the health of Mississippians for generations to come.

Baptist is committed to funding Baptist HealthTeacher in 18 Mississippi counties, reaching 34 school districts, 271 schools, 9,025 teachers, and nearly 140,000 students.
