Perhaps at the heart of patient-focused care is convenience. We take every opportunity to make services more convenient for our patients. One example is our Every Day Heart Day screening program, available throughout the year five days a week, offered in two locations. Registration is available both via a toll-free 800 number as well as online via Baptist’s website.

Our program for patients undergoing joint replacements, Joints And More (JAM), serves patients by providing comprehensive education before surgery actually takes place. Both the patient and his or her selected “coach” participate in the program. The class is held at Baptist and is presented by a Certified Physician Assistant, Physical Therapist, and Registered Nurses, all of whom are experienced in joint replacement care. The class is free of charge and limited in size for better patient learning.

For patients who need medical equipment, such as hospital beds, wheelchairs and other types of durable medical equipment, Baptist’s Home Medical Supplies offers easily accessible, simple service. With one phone call, you can access our integrated network of services to purchase the equipment your doctor has prescribed.

We also serve our community—right in the workplace—through our Corporate Health Services. Employees of our business customers can participate in health fairs and lunchtime seminars, and get advance notice of screenings.
