Baptist's Annual Employee Campaign, "Carry the Mission"

Carry the Mission is Baptist’s employee led and employee driven campaign to support our fellow employees, our local communities, and Baptist. Our purpose is to support the mission and ministry of Baptist, the local Christian healing ministry.

Carry the Mission supports many nonprofits in our local community, and are given support based on the criteria:

1. Is the requesting agency LOCAL?
2. Is it a CHRISTIAN agency?
3. Is it a HEALTHCARE related need or organization?

Employee donations are matched by Baptist 50 cents for every dollar raised, and the money is split into three areas. 40% goes to support local nonprofits and groups, 40% goes to support the Employee Benevolence to help our fellow employees in unexpected financial difficulties, and 20% goes to support The Baptist Health Foundation, which supported Mission First by helping to provide a full-time nurse.
