Each year, Baptist Cancer Services hosts Cancer Survivors Day. On Sunday, June 1, 2008 more than 100 cancer survivors filled Baptist Medical Center to celebrate the 21st annual National Cancer Survivors Day.

During the event, audience members heard stories from survivors including author Kristi Brown of Starkville and singing from Judy Rhodes Davis. It was emceed by WLBT Anchor and Reporter Cheryl Lasseter.
