Jackson, Miss. – March 5, 2008 - As the construction continues to move forward on Baptist’s tower attached to the west side of the medical center, patients and visitors will encounter a different traffic route when entering the campus.

One side of the boulevard at the main hospital entrance at North State and Manship streets will be closed, and this entrance will become two-way traffic only. This entrance will be limited to patient drop-off and pick-up only.

Guests and visitors not dropping off a patient should enter the campus from North State Street at the entrance located just south of the Medical Arts West building. This entrance leads directly into the parking garage.

Baptist employees wearing orange vests are stationed at key locations to help direct visitors and patients with this temporary traffic route.

The entrance to the ER will remain in the same location.
