Bone Density Screenings Held at Baptist Medical Clinics
Every Friday in May, the Baptist Medical Clinic in Madison and Clinton will offer bone density screenings for $10. One out of every two women over age 50 will experience some kind of bone fracture caused by loss of bone density, a disease called osteoporosis. But the fact is, it can strike at any age. NICU Reunion

Baptist Hosts Free Creative Arts Program for Cancer Patients

* “Knit Together” is held every third Tuesday of the month at noon.

Free Cancer Support Group - HOPE (Helping Others Providing Empathy)
Baptist Cancer Services has created a new cancer support group for all types of cancer patients called “HOPE,” which means Helping Others, Providing Empathy.
Dates: Second Thursday of the month: May 8, and June 12

Baptist Offers Free Cancer Rehab Classes
Baptist's Cancer Rehab Program is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. every week at no cost in the Activity Room of the Hederman Cancer Center, 1227 North State Street, Jackson, Miss. To register, call the Baptist Health Line at 1-800-948-6262 or 601-948-6262. The class helps cancer patients enhance cardiovascular strength and endurance and immune system and bone density. It helps to increase overall strength and stamina, decrease fatigue, weight loss and improve digestion.

Diabetes Support Group
The Diabetes Support group meets the first Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in Suite 410 of the Medical Arts Building West on State Street. The upcoming free meetings will be held on May 1, and June 5.
