Cyclists Curing Cancer Century Ride Benefits Baptist Cancer Services Contact: Robby Channell, 601-968-5135 rchannell@mbhs.org Jackson, Miss. – August 19, 2008 - Join the Cyclists Curing Cancer Century Ride, benefiting Baptist Cancer Services’ Serenity Garden for cancer patients and their families. The event will be held on Saturday, September 20, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Baptist Healthplex-Clinton. The journey begins at the Baptist Healthplex-Clinton and stretches along the beautiful, historic Natchez Trace. Participants will receive a Century Ride T-shirt and a pasta lunch after the event. Rest stops will be stocked with water, sports drinks, snacks, and fruit. “This effort is helping to expand support services and planning for additional means to help patients and their families,” said Baptist Spokesman Robby Channell. “These funds will help us achieve our goal of putting into place any and all services that will help our cancer patients and their families have the best possible quality of life.” |
