Jackson, Miss. – February 3, 2006 - Jack Hobbs, early morning news anchor for NBC Affiliate WLBT, is committed to getting the entire Central Mississippi region-IN SHAPE! He has joined the Baptist Healthplex for a 12-week fitness program to get in shape.

Live weekly reports will be given to viewers on the WLBT morning show. Viewers can expect the latest developments in the health, fitness and nutrition industry along with the possibility of seeing their friend Jack Hobbs shed a few pounds!

Please note "In Shape with Jack Hobbs" is the name of WLBT's 12-week program featuring Jack Hobbs' fitness progress. But for those who want to "Get in Shape with Jack," Baptist Healthplex will be offering 50% off the joining fee until February 14th. Everyone who joins the Healthplex gets a free physical assessment; then, an exercise physiologist will put you on a fitness plan tailored to your exercise level and ability.
