Baptist Announces New Vice President of Patient Care Services,
Baptist Women's Heart Physician

Jackson, Miss. – August 26, 2005- Kathleen Ladner has joined Baptist Health Systems as the vice president of Patient Care Services. She holds a Ph.D. in Administration and Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.

A licensed registered nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner, Ladner is also a 2001 graduate of the Johnson & Johnson Warton Fellow Program in Management for Nurse Executives at the University for Pennsylvania. She was previously the vice president of Patient Care Services at Baptist Medical Center Princeton in Birmingham, Ala.

Martha D. Dickens, M.D. has joined Baptist Women’s Heart, a division of Baptist Health Systems in Jackson, Miss. Dr. Dickens was previously a physician for Nissan’s Whole Health Medical Clinic. She is board certified in Family Medicine and earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School of Medicine. Dr. Dickens completed her medical residency at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.
