Baptist Announces New Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Jackson, Miss. – July 19, 2005 - Scott Groom has joined Baptist Health Systems as vice president and chief information officer, overseeing the IT departments.

Groom comes to Baptist from Nashville, Tenn.-based InfoPartners, Inc., where he was vice president and CIO, Management Partnerships. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Health Services Administration, School of Business degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

He has 15 years of experience in IT business planning and development, advanced systems management, operations management and consulting service delivery across diverse settings.
