Baptist Gets Nod from Greystone.Net in the Best-In-Class Awards for 2004

Jackson, Miss. - November 16, 2004 - Baptist Health Systems' website earned a spot as a finalist during the Second Annual Greystone.Net Best-In-Class Awards. Winners were announced at the Greystone.Net Client Conference on November 8, 2004, in Las Vegas. Awards were presented in 11 categories, and showcased the finest in hospital and healthcare system Web site content and functionality. Greystone.net recognized Baptist in the category for Best Redesigned Web Site.

In this year's competition, Greystone clients submitted entries representing their organization's "Best-in-Class" in a series of categories for Web site and Internet strategy. Each entrant was asked to provide written descriptions along with examples of why their organizations should be considered for the award. Entries were reviewed and narrowed to a list of finalists. As in previous competitions, clients were asked to vote online for the sites they believed were Best In Class. The results from client voting were combined with the opinions of a team of experts to select the final winners.

"Each of the nominated sites truly represented the Best-In-Class for each of the 11 categories," says Kathy Divis, president of Greystone.Net. "The most successful hospitals and healthcare systems have demonstrated leadership in relationship development and marketing effectiveness through the provision of highly interactive, informational, and effective consumer Web sites.
