Jackson, Miss. - September 13, 2004 - The Baptist Continence Clinic will host an open house and free seminars focusing on stress urinary incontinence on Saturday, October 09, 2004 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Continence Clinic, Baptist Medical Center, on the lobby level. The building is located at 1225 N. State Street in Jackson.

For millions of Americans, incontinence and other urinary problems are a daily concern, yet the stigma and the embarrassing nature of the conditions make it uncomfortable to seek treatment. The good news is that there are simple solutions for your urinary problems.

Urologist Charles L. Secrest, M.D. will speak on surgical interventions. Camille Bergstraesser, CFNP will talk about the pelvic floor, and Interstitial Cystitis, and Urologist H. Jason Blalock, M.D. will discuss Overactive Bladder and Stress Urinary Incontinence.

"Urinary Health Day was organized to educate the public on urinary conditions. We invite you to participate in the seminars that will be lead by our urology healthcare providers and to celebrate the grand opening of the new location in Baptist Medical Center," said Dr. Secrest.

Registration is required for the event by calling the Baptist Health Line at 1-800-948-6262 or 948-6262.
