Baptist Health Systems, The GodwinGroup Take Home Top Health Care Marketing Award

Jackson, Miss. - July 28, 2003 -- Baptist Health Systems in Jackson, Miss. and The Godwin Group Advertising and Public Relations won the Overall Best of Show Award for "The Spirit of Healthcare" marketing campaign during the Mississippi Hospital Association's 16 th Annual Maggie Awards. This annual awards ceremony acknowledges excellence in the field of health care marketing and public relations throughout Mississippi. Over 300 entries were submitted this year.

Baptist won a total of seven Maggie Awards for the Hederman Cancer Center fund-raising packet, Heart services and branding television spots, accreditations and adolescent services print ads, and "The Spirit of Healthcare" marketing campaign and radio spot. Eleven Certificate of Merits were given to Baptist for the Cancer Services "Ribbons & Robes" logo, PET/CT Scanner print ad, Cancer and Heart Services radio spots, Women's Services print ad, "Ribbons & Robes" breast cancer awareness month, grand opening of the Hederman Cancer Center, Camp Wheez-Away video, 9 th Annual Multi-Specialty Cancer Symposium direct mail piece, and "The Spirit of Healthcare" and Cancer Services billboards.
