Robert L. Harris, MD, Has National Appointments, Membership

Jackson, Miss. - January 20, 2003 -- Robert L. Harris, MD, of Southeast Urogynecology at Women's Specialty Center was recently made a member of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. Prospective members must be board certified, and after attendance at an annual meeting, can be proposed and endorsed only by members of the Society in good standing. Each applicant must provide an updated curriculum vitae and a case list of all major surgical procedures for the year preceding application, and present a paper at the SGS Annual Meeting. The invitation-only organization has approximately 200 members nationwide.
